Q: Can I change my hosting plans at any time?
A. Yes, you can change your hosting plan at any time – free of charge! We even have dedicated server options to help you as you grow your business.

A: We always have the most recent version of cPanel

 

Q: Will You Transfer My Site Over To ProHostManagementt.com?
A: YES! Transferring your site over to Pro Host Management will be a breeze - we will handle everything. Just send us the name and password of your current hosting account, and we will move all of your files over to us seemlessly - no need to worry about losing anything!

You just need to provide us with a list of the accounts and access to the cPanel--Just send us support ticket with the following information that you wish to be transfered:

1. cPanel or ftp URL

2. username

3. password

 

Q: How long will it take to setup my new account?
A: Once your order is submitted, our system will automatically run a series of fraud tests to verify your order's authenticity. If your order passes all of these tests, your order is immediately setup and requires no manual intervention by our staff. You will have your welcome email with all your account details such as DNS info, login info, and more within a few minutes of placing your order.

If your order fails one or more of the fraud tests, it will need to be manually reviewed by a technical support engineer, and we may ask you for additional information before activating your account.

 

Q: My order wasn't setup immediately. What should I do?
A: In the event that your account wasn't setup immediately, you may find that your order has been flagged for further review and verification by a customer service representative (since we would usually have you online 15 minutes using our automatic system).

You don't need to do anything more. Our staff are always online and check the order queue for orders requiring verification and will contact you via email if additional information is required to process your order.

Orders are only manually reviewed during business hours Monday through Friday. If your order is placed outside of business hours and requires manual verification, it will be performed at the start of the next business day. We appreciate your patience in this situation.

If you have not heard from ProHostManagement.com after a full business day, please let us know.

 

Q: I want to buy a domain name without hosting. Is that possible?
A: Currently, no.

It is our goal to be able to offer a standalone domain service in the near future.

Currently, one thing we can recommend is that you try out our hosting. Hosting is our specialty, after all. If you purchase a domain name with hosting, and decide to stay with ProHostManagement, great. If you decide to use another host, you can still continue with an active domain from ProHostManagement You can continue domain name registration service through ProHostManagement as long as you choose, regardless of whether or not you still have web hosting through ProHostManagement.

A: We like knowing that our customers are happy. If for some reason you're not satisfied with our service, let us know. We would love the chance to work with you to resolve any problems you experience, however if you'd rather just part ways, we will give your money back with no hassle.

If you cancel within 45 days of signing up, we will provide you with a full refund, otherwise we will issue a pro-rated refund for unused services.

Q: Do you offer an affiliate program?

Q: Do You Do A Regular Backup On My Account?
A: Yes, we perform 2 backups on all accounts. A nightly backup to dedicated backup servers we use in Houston and a monthly backup to the dedicated backup servers we use in Dallas. Don't count on our backups alone! Your website is important, and you are the one ultimately responsible for ensuring that your data is backed up!

We do all we can to back up all account data on a nightly basis, but we can't promise that our backups will be complete, up to date or even available at all. We are not and can't be responsible in the event that some or all of your account data and settings are lost (please see our service agreement for more information).*This note may make us sound like a bunch of jerks, but we are really just trying to make sure you know are aware of the gravity of the reality that you need to do all that you can to prevent losses.

You should always keep an up to date copy of your website on your computer and/or external hard drive. You can easily download file, database and settings backups from the backup area of cPanel.

Q: Can I pay by check or money order?
A: ProHostManagement.com only accepts payment via credit card and PayPal at this time

Q: How much will I be billed upon signup?
A: Upon signup, you will be charged for your first contract period. For example, if you purchase our Basic Hosting plan and you choose to go with the 2 Year Pre-Paid payment plan, then you will pay that upfront. However, if you choose to go with a month-to-month payment system, then you be billed for each month at a monthly rate.

Our order form will calculate the amount of your first invoice before you submit your order, so that you can make sure you know exactly what you will be charged.


Q: Will you send me spam? Do you have a privacy policy?
A: No. We're quite against spam. It's among the worst things ever created.

Q: Is your network fast and reliable?
A: Yes, and we plan on keeping it that way. ProHostManagement.com's servers are connected to an extremely powerful and fully redundant network (no single point of failure). Our network has over 20 GB/s of available bandwidth from Tier 1 transit providers.

 

Q: My website gets a lot of traffic. Will this be a problem?
A: Generally speaking, no. However, this usually depends on the nature of your website. If you are strictly a blogger or have a very text-based website, having 10,000 hits a day may not be a problem. However, if your site is very database driven and includes tons of media (sound, video, pictures, etc..) then 10,000 hits may be quite a problem. Remember that the term "shared hosting" (standard web hosting) means that your site will share a server with other users. So, if your site is very media heavy, you may wish to look into choosing a different type of account, such as Dedicated.


Q: How soon will my account be set up and ready for use?
A: Your account will be set up instantly*. You will receive an email with your account information, IP address, username and password. You can then start uploading to your site, blog, photoblog, or anything else that suits your fancy!

*If account has passed our fraud check with no errors. If an error has been discovered, You will have to wait until a ProHostManagement.com technician can manually activate your account.
